Windows and Doors Cultra
Our clients have been carrying out extensive renovations to their property in Cultra, and Budget Designer HomeWorks have been brought onboard to design and install the windows and doors.
We built the beautiful sunroom back in 2016, and have been back a few times since to install new windows and doors. It has been lovely watching the transformation of this stunning property!
Anthracite grey uPVC casement windows from our Rehau range were chosen and finished in white on the inside to allow the rooms to feel bright and airy.
A mixture of fixed panes, full or half openers and tilt and turn windows were cleverly designed to maximise the window functionality for each room.
Due to the coastal location of this home, we used our 28mm climaguard 1.0 glazed units for maximum thermal efficiency. The glass was finished with a clear tough coat on both sides and a warm edge spacer bar for optimal performance.
Multiple uPVC doors were designed in both full length glazing and solid tongue and groove effect. Multi point locking systems with anti snap locks are built into our PVC doors for maximum security, with the same high performance glass used as the windows.
Two sets of anthracite grey 4 pane aluminium bifold doors were chosen for the second sunroom. Designed to open outwards from the corner, they allow complete integration with the courtyard when open or closed due to the floor to ceiling glazing.
The thermally broken aluminium frames in our bi fold doors are finished with a dual layer of powder coating, preventing rot or erosion – especially beneficial in coastal areas.
These robust frames coupled with our high performance glazing provide bi folding doors that will withstand the harshest of coastal conditions.
The front door was chosen from our 70mm composite range with a porthole design.
Finished in chartwell green with anthracite grey frames and satin silver furniture to match the rest of the property.
A mobility threshold was chosen, future proofing the functionality of this beautiful new composite front door.
Anthracite grey uPVC sliding patio doors were designed and integrated into the gable end glass wall, with beautiful apex windows allowing maximum light flow into the chalet.
We just love how the entire project has turned out!
