Our clients had a conservatory they wanted to replace, and brought Budget Designer HomeWorks onboard to complete the project.
Inspections were carried out on the foundations and cavity walls, ensuring all were in good repair with the required insulation.
We installed a new bronze Activ self-cleaning glass roof system, complete with matching white roofline.
This particular conservatory roof system has a dual function… Self-cleaning and solar control performance.
A unique coating prevents dirt and grime from attaching to the glass, allowing natural rainwater to wash it away. Ideal for those hard to reach areas!
The solar control glass helps to reduce solar heat gain by reflecting glare, providing a more comfortable room even in full sunlight.
This White Victorian Conservatory Donaghadee was constructed with reinforced white uPVC frames, toughened Argon gas filled glass units, and a steel ring beam to bear the weight of the roof.
New white uPVC french doors were installed, with matching handles and flag hinges.
The conservatory was electrically wired to install a central light fitting, and on the outside, the roof design was finished with a ball finial.
The top half of the dwarf wall was completed with fresh render to match the design of our clients home.
The Low-e glass used in both the windows and french doors helps to reduce heat loss and prevent internal condensation, creating a new conservatory that can be used all year round!
