Modern Sunroom Pod Ards Peninsula

This Modern Sunroom Pod was recently built on the Ards Peninsula.

Opting for this Contemporary Sunroom Extension with floor to ceiling glass allowed our clients to add the additional room they wanted to their home, creating a beautiful space with plenty of natural light.

The piling and foundations were completed first, with steel poles installed into the foundations. 

Steel framework was constructed, which held the steel ring beam in place for the flat roof. Our warm roof system is fully insulated, helping to retain the heat even on the coldest of days.

Our clients opted for a beautiful anthracite grey Roof Lantern to match the stacked double glazed windows and bi fold doors. 

These aluminium bi fold doors can open fully to allow seamless integration with the outdoors, or two leaves can be locked into position, allowing a traffic door for everyday use.

The Modern Sunroom Pod was added in an L shape to close in the existing available space.

Anthracite grey uPVC fascia, soffit and guttering were designed to match the overall look of the structure, with downlights installed into the roofline.

Anthracite grey uPVC frames house the thermal double glazed units, making this a versatile room that can be used all year round.

Tiled steps to match the base complete the look of this beautiful Modern Sunroom Extension on the Ards Peninsula.
