Efficiency Guide

The Budget Designer HomeWorks efficiency guide, should help you understand some basic legalities.

All windows and doors are energy A rated as per the Energy Ratings labels. Our energy rated products help to contain and conserve heat within your home and also reduce your ‘carbon footprint’ by keeping out wind and rain and yet allowing natural ‘free’ energy to heat your home. With carbon emissions high on the global agenda and the current high cost of fuel, we are all looking for ways to make our homes more energy efficient.

You can save money on your energy bills and help to reduce emissions by installing energy efficient windows and doors.

The BFRC ratings scheme is the UK’s national system for rating the energy efficiency of windows and doors and is recognised within the building regulations as a method to show compliance for your installations. Its rating scheme for energy efficient windows is a system that uses EU authorised energy labels, (specifically produced for windows and doors) that are similar to the energy labels seen on most household appliances.

All of Budget Designer HomeWorks range of doors and windows conform to British standards and windows and doors are all energy A rated. As well as this all our products incorporate maximum security iron mongery.
